At Climate Ride, we’re expanding beyond the bike, and we need you to help us lead the charge. The fight against climate change is an uphill battle, and the nonprofits doing the hard work for active transportation, environment, and conservation receive less than 3% of all charitable donations. They need us to run on their behalf.

Your mission is simple: join an event, spread the word, and raise funds for the planet. Whether you run, jog, or dramatically saunter, every pace and every voice matters. Rally your friends, create a team, and let’s get moving—because protecting our future deserves our biggest, boldest efforts.

Why run a marathon with Climate Ride?

In a challenging time for our planet, the work of environmental non-profits is more critical than ever. Yet many of these vital organizations face an uncertain future, threatening their efforts to protect our air, water, and lands.

At Climate Ride, we are responding with determination. We are committed to ensuring our grants program not only survives but thrives, continuing to be a beacon of hope and a source of crucial funding. To do that, we must grow our community by offering more options for people to take action.

That’s why we’re inviting runners to join our movement. We are forming an interest list for a new marathon event, and if the interest is strong, we will absolutely make it happen. Funds raised will directly support the growth of our running programs, meaning more events, more awareness, and more support for our non-profit partners.

Taking on this challenge is a statement about your values and your vision for our future. Your participation can create profound ripple effects.

Rogue River Run

I had such an incredible adventure with Climate Ride at the Rogue River. The trail we traveled was so beautiful, it was idyllic. All the logistics were taken care of, and the food was terrific! The rafting company chose the most magnificent locations for our tents and provided everything we needed to enjoy ourselves at the end of the day. Climate Ride brought together an inspirational group of people to run (and walk) and getting to know the other participants was a highlight of the trip. All and all, a fantastic run! I can’t wait to sign up for another Climate Ride experience!

After participating in seven Climate Ride events (eight if you count Climate Rise!) I continue to be impressed with the Climate Ride staff as well as the community of riders–I couldn’t ask to be part of a kinder, more thoughtful, and incredibly fun group of people, all brought together by our desire to combine our passions for cycling with making the world a better place.

I just participated in my first Climate Ride in Western New York. It certainly will not be my last! The event was very well organized. It was a wonderful group of people that care about one of the great challenges we face today, climate change. Even more important, it was group of people trying to address this problem by personally taking action to make change happen to better our world.
