To me riding my bike has been not only a path of genuine liberation, but also a revolutionary guide in learning about the land we all live on. In my life of adventures I’ve experienced the most profound joy and definitely the deepest pits of fear. Cycling around the world has given me the life experiences that I could never have dreamt of, and it continues to do so! Outside of riding my bike whenever I can, for the last 7 years I’ve made a commitment to helping get underrepresented youth outdoors, in efforts of building their connection to the land. I’ve done that through both academia and with nonprofit organizations, always advocating for those who have historically had little voice in the outdoors. Even if it’s not biking, I’m just happy to be outside, but especially in community!
