It’s difficult to fully express how life-changing and impactful the Glacier to Banff experience was for me. While I’ve been an active cyclist for several years and have led many social rides during my time at the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, this was – believe it or not – my first organized group ride as a participant! Most of my riding has been solo, so getting to experience the camaraderie with not only your team but also with the 25+ fellow riders was truly special.
Climate Ride did an amazing job planning the route and creating a space where everyone felt welcomed, supported, and seen. The mix of breathtaking landscapes, the physical challenge of traversing from camp to camp, crossing borders, the joy of sharing some incredibly tasty gnar gnar meals, and the unwavering commitment you all have towards climate advocacy made this an unforgettable journey. I’ve come away from this experience a changed person, and I’m deeply grateful for all the work that Climate Ride does.
