We love welcoming new riders—and we love when our alumni help grow the Climate Ride community. Thanks to the generosity of an Annual Fund donor who believes that these events truly change lives, we’re able to offer this fundraising boost.
Here’s how it works:
- First-time Climate Ride participants receive $200 added to their fundraising when they sign up for their first event*.
- Returning Climate Ride riders who refer a new participant receive $200 added to their fundraising when that new rider registers.
- The new rider also receives $200—so when an alum brings a friend, both riders get a $200 fundraising boost.
This donor-supported incentive helps riders get a strong start, rewards community advocacy, and ultimately directs more funds to climate, sustainability, and bike advocacy organizations. *Please see the eligible events below.
For First-Time Climate Riders
We’ve been inspired by the impact that thousands of Climate Riders have made over the years, and now it’s your turn to join the movement!

Maybe you’re just learning about Climate Ride for the first time, or you’ve wanted to do the Glacier Ride for years but never took the plunge. Either way, we are spreading the love with all new participants this February.
For any new participant who signs up for a 2026 event in February, we’ll kick-start your fundraising with $200 toward your goal.
Alumni: Share the Love with a Friend
Maybe you’ve done a Climate Ride event before, and you want to share the love, too? We encourage you to bring a first-time friend!
