Lisa Drake is an avid cyclist and a 6x Triple Bypass rider (Denver to Beaver Creek, 3 mountain passes, 10k feet of climbing, 122 miles, one day.) Her first Climate Ride was the Pacific Northwest inaugural bike ride where she was hooked not only by the scenery and endorphins but by lasting friendships and the mission to help our planet. Lisa has worked in technology marketing and product development for 20 years in Silicon Valley and Boulder, CO. She has worked for Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Exabyte, Solbourne Computer, and Level 3 Telecommunications. She has consulted for the Nature Conservancy and for start-up environmental businesses. Lisa lives in Boulder, CO with her husband who is also an avid cyclist, and has two boys, 27 and 29. She has a BA from Smith College, a Masters in Contemporary Chinese History from Fudan University in Shanghai and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Lisa participated in PNW Climate Ride 2016, Bhutan Ride 2018, Glacier National Park Ride in 2022, and Northern California Ride in 2024.
