Jim is currently Managing Partner of Gravitas Americas, a merchant banking boutique focused on impact investing and ESG advisory services. Prior to his current role, he served as president and CEO of Citizens Capital Markets, Inc., a subsidiary of Citizens Financial Group. He joined Citizens as head of mergers & acquisitions in 2012. Previously, Jim held positions as head of m&a and corporate finance for other leading financial institutions.
Outside of work, Jim loves both road and mountain biking and has joined Climate Rides in the Pacific Northwest, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Iceland, Bhutan, Bears Ears National Monument and the Green Fondo in California.
Jim holds an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, an MBA in Financial Management from Duke University and a BA in Economics from Davidson College. He is married and has three sons.
