
Dwight is a nonprofit and strategy executive with over 17 years of experience leading operations, finance, and organizational growth across the media, tech, and civic sectors. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at the global nonprofit Meedan, where he helped lead the organization to receive the prestigious 2024 Skoll Award for Social Innovation. Dwight holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he was a research fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy. His work there focused on the intersection of technology and democracy, including efforts to strengthen information ecosystems and combat misinformation. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief of Staff at Common Sense Media, led early-stage programs like the Credibility Coalition and MisinfoCon, and worked in policy consulting and political organizing, including on the 2008 Obama campaign. Bicoastal between Los Angeles, CA and Brooklyn, NY, Dwight is an avid cyclist and adventure traveler who has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro and trekked to Everest Base Camp.
