After graduating from Northwestern, Caeli traded the classroom for two wheels and never looked back. Her “office” has ranged from a remote backcountry refuge next to a Patagonian glacier in Torres del Paine to the winding roads of China and Myanmar during her decade-long stint leading global trips for Backroads.
Deeply moved by the cultures she met along the way—and the environmental challenges they face—she founded Climate Ride to turn pedal power into philanthropic impact. Now, she calls Montana home, living near Glacier National Park with her family, where the mountains are big, and the commutes are usually uphill.
