The purposes of Citizens Climate Education Corp (CCEC) and Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) are to create the political will for a stable climate and to empower individuals to have breakthroughs in exercising their personal and political power. We engage, train, and support citizens to effectively participate in democracy to advocate for safe, secure, clean energy policies. CCEC/CCL educates volunteers in the broadest possible way, including: science, economics, politics, sociology, and succinct communication. Volunteers build common ground with legislators. Activities include writing letters to the editor, meetings with editorial boards, outreach and meeting directly with members of Congress and Parliament.
