At the Boston Cyclists Union, we’re helping Bostonians lead healthier and more enjoyable lives by promoting the bicycle. The Union repairs over 1,250 bikes per year at farmers’ markets, educates new riders, and organizes neighborhood residents to voice support for better biking infrastructure and policy. In 2013, the Boston Cyclists Union is supporting plans for new physically separated bike lanes (cycletracks) in Somerville and Boston, pushing for a bike network that would put low-stress bikeways within .5 miles of every doorstep, and working to connect cyclists to each other in every neighborhood in the city. Climate Riders choosing to benefit the Union will receive a free membership and Union T-shirt.
