350 Bay Area is building a grassroots climate movement in the Bay Area & beyond to eliminate carbon pollution and achieve a clean energy future with racial, economic, and environmental justice. We do this by empowering people who are worried about the climate crisis to take action. The money we raise supports and grows the team of effective climate advocates, working tirelessly to get emissions-eliminating policies passed.
Though the fossil fuel industry has the big money — 350 Bay Area is fighting back with people power to stop expansion projects and accelerate the fossil fuel end-game, speeding the just transition to a clean energy economy. A few specific policies we’ve won at the state, regional and local levels include: Challenging new gas stations – and winning, Getting gas out of our buildings, Requiring refineries to reduce emissions, and much more.
