Mackenzie joined Climate Ride in the summer of 2017 after earning a master’s degree in Poetry from the University of Montana and begrudgingly accepting a horse, Canner. Unfortunately, Canner is travel-phobic, and he made it hard for Mackenzie to go back to a life of adventure, biking, and activism after graduate school. Fortunately, Climate Ride brings together all three letting Mackenzie travel, help people work to save the planet, and riding bikes!
