Austin is in his first year at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and has been practicing his pop-wheelies amid the usual Climate Ride training. David is an architect, and both Austin and David are fundraising for California Straw Building Association (CASBA) which promotes plant-based, minimally processed building materials such as wood, straw, hemp, and bamboo, in place of typical building materials which leave a large environmental footprint.
Fun fact: Sunday Day 2 of the Ride, we will be having lunch at MEarth Green Classroom which is solar powered, living roof and LEED certified was designed by David and his wife, Anni Tilt.
