The Woods Hole Research Center is an independent research institution where scientists combine remote sensing technology and fieldwork to investigate the drivers and impacts of climate change to identify opportunities for conservation, restoration and economic development around the globe.
The only way to arrest global warming is a complete transition away from fossil fuels – this will take 40 years that we cannot spare. We must reduce emissions immediately to buy the time required to replace fossil fuels. We can reduce CO2 emissions by 50% every year for the next 50 years, but no more, through smart land management. Please support WHRC and help build a global map of agriculture, conservation and reforestation targets to reduce global carbon emissions by 50%.Visit Site
