CommonWheels Bicycle Co-op is a nonprofit based in Allston, Massachusetts. The organization was founded by Allston residents in 2011 based on a belief in the power of the bicycle as a tool for mobility, fun, and community-building, and in the power of the self-sufficiency one feels from being able to repair one’s own bicycle. CommonWheels acts on this belief by offering programming and services that introduce cycling to residents and give them the skills and tools to become confident, self-sufficient urban cyclists.
