1Sky

1Sky was created in 2007 to focus the power of millions of concerned Americans on a single goal: bold federal action by 2010 that can reverse global warming. The 1Sky Solutions are grounded in scientific necessity—they are the bottom line of what's needed to dramatically reduce carbon emissions while maximizing energy efficiency, renewable energy and breakthrough technologies. They also represent significant economic promise. By pivoting to a clean energy economy, we can relieve our dependence on foreign oil, unlock the potential of sustainable industry and usher in a new era of prosperity and green jobs.

American Wind Energy Association (AWEA)

The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) promotes wind power growth through advocacy, communication, and education.

Wind power is an essential element of the climate change solution. 100 percent clean, domestically-produced and inexhaustible, wind is a reliable, readily-available, and cost-effective source of electricity.

As a growing component of America's electricity supply, wind energy will provide much needed price stability, generate tens of millions of dollars in revenue for farmers and rural communities, and create tens of thousands of jobs. Adding more wind power will also enhance the nation's energy security as our need for electricity continues to grow. The many benefits of wind power explain why it is one of the world's fastest growing sources of electricity.

AWEA is the national trade association of America's wind industry, with a membership that includes global leaders in wind project development, turbine manufacturing, and utilities, as well as a broad range of component and service suppliers.

We hooked up with NativeEnergy to create Cool Tags. They’re renewable wind energy credits that offset CO2 emissions. Each Cool Tag keeps an estimated 300 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the air. (That’s about how much you would generate driving 300 miles in an average car.)

Buy a Cool Tag. Stick it in your window.
Do what you can to live a little greener.
We’ll do the same.

Glacier Guides

We founded Glacier Guides in 1983 because no one else was providing the kind of ecologically sensitive backcountry guiding and interpretation that Glacier National Park deserved. In those days there were just three of us, but our hunch that an outfit like ours was needed turned out to be correct. Four years later we expanded to include rafting on the area's two Wild and Scenic rivers. Today, with more than seventy guides and support people on our staff, we provide the area's most comprehensive and professional hiking, backpacking, fishing and rafting services.
