2014 is gearing up to be a huge year for Climate Ride. Our recent California Wine Country Ride garnered strong community support and broke fundraising records. We are looking forward to the same mission-driven success with Climate Hike, Climate Ride Midwest, Climate Ride NYC-DC, and our Independent Challenge Program.

We are launching our Annual Fund and Bike Giveaway Campaign to ensure we continue to grow our impact in 2015 and achieve the following goals in 2014:

  • Launch new Climate Ride events to increase regional support for climate and active transportation causes and projects
  • 27% increase in our grants program over last year (potentially $650,000 to climate, active transportation, environmental and public health efforts on a local and national level)
  • 44% increase in participation
  • 50% increase in non-profit organizations supported by Climate Ride's efforts (now supporting more than 100 beneficiaries)

This is a time of great opportunity for Climate Ride to power the movement. We are pioneers in this space and the only ones galvanizing people to take action on active transportation and climate change through life-changing, multi-day endurance events. We affect social change and support the intricate web of local organizations fighting for a sustainable future in their communities. From funding conservation efforts in our national parks to protected bike lanes in our nation’s cities, Climate Ride’s impact is felt across many channels.

Donate today to help us reach our goal of $50,000!

Your donation will help take Climate Ride to the next level, and think of where your donation might take you as you cruise around on your sweet new Climate Ride Bike!

The 2014 Annual Fund and Bike Giveaway runs through August 4, 2014. All donations support the operations, programs, and growth of Climate Ride, a 501c3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.

ABOUT THE ANNUAL FUND AND FOUNDERS CIRCLE

Since 2008, Climate Ride has grown from a bright idea to a successful nonprofit with three major annual events.

  • In 6 years, Climate Ride has generated more than $1.5 million for sustainability, active transportation, and environmental causes.
  • In 2013, Climate Ride increased its grants by a whopping 23 percent.
  • We increased our advocacy meetings with Members of Congress by 50 percent.
  • Riders have pedaled more than 364,640 miles for the cause.
  • We did this with a staff of 5 and the grassroots support of thousands of riders & donors.
  • In 2014, Climate Ride has rolled out a new ride in California and introduced Climate Hike – Glacier National Park.

By joining the Annual Fund and Founders Circle, you will help us support Climate Ride programs, grow our current rides and launch new events. This will bring the experience of Climate Ride to new parts of the United States and the world, raising even more awareness and more critical funds for our great beneficiary organizations. Learn more about Climate Ride's impact in the 2012 Annual Report.
