What is Climate Ride all about?
Climate Ride is about cycling, green energy, combating climate change, promoting sustainability, meeting inspirational people doing great work in all these realms, and making some lifelong friends. It's also about riding 300 miles through some of the country's most beautiful and historic regions.
Climate Ride NYC-DC cruises through the green, rolling countryside of the Atlantic coast, connecting these two bustling cities via backroads, sleepy farm country, and historic towns. The next ride will take place from September 21st - 25th, 2013.
Climate Ride California - New Route for 2014! Climate Ride California begins in San Francisco and takes riders over the Golden Gate Bridge and along the Marin Coast, before turning east to pedal past famous wineries in the classic Napa Valley, and then descending into California’s Central Valley to the Golden State’s Capitol in Sacramento. The next ride will take place in May 2014.
In the evenings, Climate Riders will get to hear inspirational speakers from all corners of the green energy, sustainability, and cycling worlds, and get to know fellow riders working toward the same goals.
