Day 1 Complete!

I can’t believe it. I have pedaled my way to Princeton. No sag wagon for me. I smugly perched high upon my saddle as I pulled into our YMCA campground. Ignoring my sore ankle and my screaming thighs, I gave others the thumbs up and exclaimed “no problem”. In fact, the last 4 miles I had to ride in mostly silence since every breath counted down distance in minutia. Today was our EASY day. Only 45 miles . . .

Language is a Virus

Beat writer William Burroughs said a lot of things. The title of this post was one of them. And he was right. Language changes, it mutates to suite the host. Today was the first day of Brita’s Climate Ride and we did our best to mutate a little language.

Thoughts - Day 1

…And They’re Off!

Hello from New York. I'm Stephen Miller, trail development coordinator for
Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) and I had the pleasure of joining my coworker
