Meet Talia and Felice! This mother-daughter duo joins us from Virginia. In 2014, Talia took a trip to the Arctic and learned first-hand from the native people how their communities are affected by climate change. She is studying environmental science in college and committed to climate change awareness and advocacy. A cycling enthusiast, her mother Felice jumped at the opportunity to support Talia and share this experience with her.
When Talia is not on Climate Ride or in school, she loves to upcycle her “trash.” Old t-shirts turn into tote bags and bracelets; a cereal box turns into a folder or guitar! Felice also has her own creative pursuits. After a 20-year career in law, she now works with residential renovation and home construction, as well as volunteering with her local film festival and film club.
