This is one of the most thrilling parts of Climate Ride into Washington DC. Please invite your family and friends to pedal with us, or to meet us at the Upper Senate Park for the riders’ arrival.
Details:
2:30 pm: Gather at the pedestrian circle near the Thompson Boat Center, west of 30th St. NW (MAP HERE). Bring your own bike or pick up a Capital Bikeshare bike.
2:45 pm: Riders depart to pedal Constitution Avenue to the US Capitol, and then to the Upper Senate Park.
3:15 pm: Riders arrive at Upper Senate Park.
3:30 pm: Keynote Address from Senator Sheldon Whitehouse at the Upper Senate Park, New Jersey Ave. NW (MAP HERE).
4 pm: Event ends. Climate Riders depart the Upper Senate Park to ride to Canal Park.
