In a recent Rolling Stones article, Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org-- a Climate Ride beneficiary organization-- reminds us once again that climate change is happening and the devastating impacts are being felt around the globe-- change needs to happen now.

Following a Spring that was the warmest ever recorded for our nation, crushing the old record by so much that it represented the largest temperature departure from average of any season on record, even the most ardent climate change naysayers are singing a different tune. McKibben warns that if we continue to be ineffectual about limiting the amount of carbon we burn, the devastation we’re seeing now promises to reach extremely dire levels.
