Brita Climate Ride 2009 begins in less than one week! Right now, over a hundred cyclists from all over the country are preparing their bicycles for the three hundred mile ride from New York to DC. They are packing, performing last-minute fundraising, and getting in their last training rides.
Below are photos from last year's Climate Ride. We will be adding more over the course of the ride.
Join Climate Riders as they arrive at the US Capitol on Wednesday, September 30th!
Pedal with 100+ Climate Riders, seven ambassadors, and supporters from the DC area to bicycle the final three miles of their 300 mile journey from New York City. We'll pedal up Constitution Ave to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol for the Climate Ride finale and rally, where we will be calling for action in the Senate and at COP15.
Everyone is welcome to join the Climate Riders in this call to action. RSVP via facebook.
